Purpose of foundation
Park Soon-seok, chairman of Shinan Group, who was born and raised in an era of poverty and famine caused by liberation and war, who could not even dream of studying and learning, said, “Education is the yardstick that sets our future right and it is the responsibility and task of society and corporations to support the coming generation.” With such belief, Chairman Part established the scholarship foundation.
The Soonseok Scholarship Foundation has been steadily conducting scholarship programs helping students to grow with equal opportunity by focusing on their studies regardless of their economic circumstances. The foundation has been conducting scholarship programs such as tuition support for student breadwinners, scholarship support, etc.
